For more than two months now, the air-force and the tanks of the Israeli army are daily bombing the civilian Palestinian infrastructure: the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, of Interior and of Economy, bridges and roads, but also, right from the start of the operation, the power station of Nusseirat. Gaza is now plunged into darkness. The everyday life in Gaza during this summer 2006 reminds the worst days of the Intifada. The assessment of the situation is at the moment: 231 deaths (of which 47 children and 12 women) and 726 injured.
