Today, shopping malls are an integral part of daily life, and are no long places that we visit for convenience. The new generation of mega-malls such as the Mall of America in Minnesota and the West Edmonton Mall in Canada are intended to make the act of shopping an experience in itself. Complete with indoor-lakes and theme parks, beaches, wedding chapels, entertainment, and hotels; the malls attract visitors who will spend an entire vacation without ever leaving the complex. ‘Mall-walkers’ choose to go jogging inside the enclosed space of the Mall rather than outside, they say “it is just safer this way”.
