Sok
Sreyka, age three and HIV positive , has her Herpes wounds bathed by her HIV
positive mother, Chet Sreyni, at the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital in Phnom
Penh. Sreyka and Sreyni have spent the last 2 months staying at the hospital
nursing their father and husband, Sok Ra, who is hospitalised with HIV and Tuberculosis.
Formerly a construction worker, but now crippled by disease, Ra has no source
of income. Their family survives through small financial donations from other
family members and rations from the World Food Programme.
