Images
of the KKK are seen by most as examples of hatred, yet members of the organization
see themselves as a group calling for white people to assert, or regain, a power
they feel has been lost to them in America. They see a multicultural America
favoring people of color over whites and a nation too willing to open its borders
to immigrants.
