



Top left :Coryn looks out the window in her bedroom surrounded by stuffed
animals. For the first few months, Coryn was not allowed out of her house
for fear of her battered immune system being overtaken by some common sickness.
Her limited guests wore masks to limit her exposure.
Bottom left :Its been a rough road for Lee Lord, Coryn's dad who's shaved
his head in solidarity with his daughter. Lee, a teacher at the Jackson Middle
School is pretty worn
out but along with his wife Cathy continues to rally Coryn for her final
year of chemotherapy.
Top right :It is 5:45am. Coryn wanders into the bathroom leaning on her father
Lee for support. In a few minutes Coryn will leave with her Mother, Cathy
and her Grandmother, Carolyn McCormick on a two hour drive north to Children's
Hospital in Columbus, Ohio for her chemotherapy treatment.
Bottom right : A giant stuffed bear saves Coryn's seat in her 2nd grade classroom.
