The Grand Hardware is a fairly new addition – it moved to this store two years ago after being evicted from its old location, due to several months of unpaid rent. Owned by one of the members, the new location provides privacy and comfort to the 28 retirees that stop by daily.

Gambling is perhaps the primary activity. The television is permanently set on the horse races, there are poker machines, and a back room is set up for playing cards -an accommodating environment for these small time gamblers.
