His journey from Libya to Lampedusa on a small, crowded fishing boat lasted three days.
A few minutes after they reached port the boat Sank, fortunately no one died.

Birex was with his wife and his son when arrived at "Marina di Ragusa". After their registration they decided to stay in Palermo. They still live in the collective centre but in separate sections, male and female. He hopes to live and raise his son in Italy.
