London Bombings

This coverage of the London Bombings shows the tragic event of 7/7 and its consequences through different angles. Photographers Anna Kari, Eduardo Martino and Guilhem Alandry documented the attacks on July 7th around Kings Cross Station, where most of the destruction took place, but also during the following days and weeks, through personal approaches.

Anna Kari’s portraits with interviews of ordinary people in the streets of London during the many days after the attacks take us closer to Londoners and show us the diversity of opinions about the attacks.

The sites of the explosions were revisited many times by Guilhem Alandry. Through his award-winning 360-degree panoramic images we have the unique opportunity to see the same places exhaustively portrayed by the media in a fresh way.

Eduardo Martino photographed the reactions by some Muslim groups in London and in Beeston (Leeds) where 3 of the bombers came from. He also photographed and interviewed relatives and friends of Jean de Menezes, the innocent Brazilian electrician killed by the police.
